Early last year, Joor’s director of operations brought in seven people to work in data operations on a trial basis. At the end of the trial, three were hired as full-time workers, Ms. Bijoor said: “And they’re all rock stars.” Much of the emotion and uncertainty has been taken out of the interview process. “We’re giving job candidates the opportunity to show us what they’ve got.”
