With over twelve years of experience, Ms. Bijoor benefits from understanding both the brand and boutique perspectives having worked for CHANEL, Elie Tahari, Cynthia Rowley, Mimi Maternity, and Ann Taylor. She received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
Rupa has helped design the marketing strategies for several emerging tech companies including MyCityWay, eMusic, and Wimdu. Now, she’s excited to bring the creativity and people-centric approach of consumer driven marketing to the wholesale fashion market. At JOOR, she leads our buyer awareness efforts and overall company branding campaign. Rupa has a BS from Northwestern and an MBA from Wharton.
At JOOR, Nasha combines three of her passions--fashion trends, technology, and insights. She focuses on mining member engagement patterns so that we can better constantly improve our product and marketing efforts. Nasha brings extensive experience in marketing and analytics through her roles at Rent the Runway, Edition01, and Morgan Stanley. She has a BA in History from Stanford University.
For the past three years, Jamie has lived and breathed wholesale fashion. As a showroom coordinator, Jamie managed multiple clothing lines and accessories, tracked inventory, processed orders, and supported boutique owners throughout the buying process.
She brings her experience to JOOR to help ensure that the boutique experience is unmatched. Jamie holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Boutiques on JOOR know Sarah very well. Having interned with JOOR while at NYU, Sarah developed a keen eye and head for the business of fashion. She brings experience in building customer relations from the non-profit and art worlds to JOOR, and is focused on delivering service, support, and value to JOOR's network of boutiques. Sarah holds a BA in Art History from New York University.
If you're a fashion brand on JOOR, Lauren is your new best friend. She does everything from marketing, to events, to sales strategy and she's here to help you get the most out of JOOR. After spending several years in marketing, PR, and consulting roles for various retail start-ups and emerging designers, she knows what it takes to move a product line. In addition to her experience, Lauren gets her business acumen from a degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.
Marisa brings three years of creative sales and engagement experience from TheLadders.com. As a Boutique Engagement Manager, she connects with buyers from all over the world to introduce them to the JOOR experience and listen to their most important priorities. Marisa has a BS in Business Administration from Florida International University.
Brands that join JOOR are often surprised at how easy it is to get up and running. They can thank Jordan for that. She is a master at coordinating with clients to understand their product, streamline their linesheets, and translate their vision into a JOOR profile that delivers results. Jordan majored in Apparel Merchandising at East Carolina University where she organized a variety of fashion events showcasing local boutiques.
Jolie brings four years of fashion wholesale experience, a love of contemporary design and relationship building savvy to JOOR. The knowledge gained in Jolie's past roles allows her to offer our brand partners excellent understanding of the wholesale process and expert advice on how to use JOOR to increase sales and save time. She holds a degree from the University of Kansas.
Kristen is passionate about imagining new products and services that make the customer's life easier. At JOOR, she captures the most relevant and compelling consumer insights from brands and boutiques and designs innovative features that will be efficient, fun, and simple to use. Kristen has spent the last ten years developing and marketing products for Pfizer, General Mills, and WebMD. She has a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from Wharton.
Every program can get better, that's Melissa's motto. For ten years, she's helped invent functionality in software we use every day. In her time at Adobe and Travelocity, she helped build the features we've come to expect. Melissa puts her innovative thinking to work developing and maintaining the cutting edge JOOR platform. Melissa holds a BS in Computer Science from Brown University.
Maurice is committed to delivering exceptional performance on the JOOR site. He brings over fifteen years of experience in software development, web development, and IT administration to the team. An expert in eight different programming languages (and three spoken languages) he has implemented critical technology solutions for a variety of companies around the world including Nokia, Newscorp, and Schibsted Classified Media (top media conglomerate in Scandinavia). Maurice holds an Entrepreneurship degree from Roberval in Canada.>
Dan works to ensure that JOOR is intuitive and easy to use. He honed his skills over the past six years developing websites that integrate a variety of information sources like Twitter, Facebook, and customization software that have consistently impressed users. His experience with emerging mobile technologies enables JOOR to deliver products and services across multiple platforms. Dan holds a BS in Computer Science from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute.
Asia is passionate about introducing technology to environments that are not traditionally very technical. At JOOR she applies this passion to her work as a quality assurance engineer ensuring that the JOOR site is fast, intuitive, and bug-free. Asia studied computer science at Carnegie Mellon University where she also developed a deep love for human-computer interaction and robotics.
Like the look of JOOR? Ashley works hard to conceptualize and implement ideas that will keep the experience of the site feeling fresh and engaging. Incorporating the latest trends in fashion in a way that combines the best of art and functionality, Ashley promotes the designs of our member brands and captivates the boutique audience. Ashley holds an BFA degree in Design and Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design.
